Hi, my name is Shannon — My journey into event planning began long before Gathered Softly had a name. I’ve always been the one who loved hosting—opening my home, bringing people together, and thoughtfully preparing spaces where family and friends felt cared for, considered, and at ease.
As a mom and wife, I’ve learned that the smallest details often hold the most meaning. How someone is welcomed. How a moment unfolds. How an experience makes people feel long after it’s over. Those instincts—rooted in faith, intention, and service—naturally shaped the way I approach gatherings.
Gathered Softly was created from a desire to extend that same level of care to others. My work is centered on thoughtful planning, calm problem-solving, and creating beautiful, intentional events that feel personal, grounded, and deeply meaningful.
I look forward to collaborating with you and bringing your moments to life—softly, intentionally, and with purpose.
When I’m not designing celebrations, you’ll probably find me:

• Watching Harry Potter for the hundredth time.
• Admiring tiny, miniature things that somehow make life feel bigger.
